In the Marketplace you will find hooks to process your forms. Do you want to design the report of your forms using Word? Buy the Word-hook in the Marketplace and upload your Word template!

1. Purchase the Word-hook

In order to start designing the reports using Microsoft Word, you will need to download the Word-hook from the MoreApp Marketplace. This hook has a one-time payment of €200, plus one credit everytime you send a form that uses the Word-hook. By clicking on Purchase you will need to enter your payment details and credit card information. Once the transaction is completed the Word-hook is available for you in the Platform.

2. Create the Word template

Use placeholders in your Word template in order to know where the form entries will be placed in the report. You can identify the placeholders based on the data names of the widgets which can be found in the advanced mode of the widget's properties panel.

Most of the widgets on the platform use the placeholder; {dataname}, for example, the Text-widget will have the placeholder; {text}. The widgets which use a different placeholder are the following:

Subform-widget

The Subform-widget has to be inserted in this manner in order for it to be visible in your Word report.

{#subform}
{day}, {hours}

{/subform}

Photo-widget
This widget uses the placeholder; {%photo}

Signature-widget
This widget uses the placeholder; {%signature}

Also, pay attention that the Catalogue- and Pin-widgets won't be visible in the export of the Word-hook.

3. Configuring the hook

Now that you have successfully bought the hook, you can log into the MoreApp Platform. Select the form you would like to use the Word-hook with and click on Edit Form. Under the Hooks tab, you can add the hook to your form by clicking on Add Hook and you can start configuring the hook. You can choose Word or PDF as an Output format. Under Recipients, you can insert the email of the person who will receive the file, use a comma to separate the emails if there are more than one. Also, you can add Dynamic recipients which use the email filled in the Email-widget in your form. Next, add the Subject line of the email, here you can also use placeholders.

Give your file a name under Filename and upload the Word template you created, and click on Save. Now that you are finished with editing your form click on Save & Publish.

4. Remove the default email

You can remove the default email that MoreApp generates under the Email tab by clicking on the trash icon if you do not want to receive 2 emails.
